Delivery Information

    We use a specialist furniture delivery company

    Due to the high value of our items we use a specialist delivery company to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition.

    At this stage, in order to remain competitive and reduce costs, we use a one man delivery service as standard. If you require a 2 man service please contact us.

    Our service

    • Your delivery will be booked in with you by telephone 3-4 Days prior to delivery
    • You will receive a courtesy call from our driver 1 hour prior to delivery
    • We deliver into a downstairs room of your choice (Upstairs only if it is safe for the driver to do so)
    • You will receive a 'safe delivery' receipt

    Delivery Times

    We deliver to most parts of the UK on a weekly basis and aim to complete all deliveries within 14 days. Please note delivery to Northern Scotland and remote parts of the UK can take longer and may be subject to a surcharge - please contact us for details.

    Where we deliver

    We deliver to all parts of England, Wales & Scotland. Due to the high costs involved we do not deliver to N. Ireland and the Channel Islands.

    Delivery charges

    Delivery charges range from £19.95 to £39.95 depending on the item. For an accurate quote please go to the checkout page and enter your postcode and delivery charges to your area will appear in the Order Review section. Additional charges will be applied to the following postcodes and regions, and we reserve the right to refuse delivery to some areas. Any surcharges will be included in your shipping quote:

    • Scottish Remote & Offshore Islands
    • IV - all postcodes
    • AB - all postcodes
    • KW1-14, PA34
    • PA37-39
    • PH19-40, PH49-50

    Please note: we only apply one delivery charge per order. Additional deliveries are free of charge.

    Delivery Terms

    In the event you are out when we attempt delivery within the pre-arranged timeslot, we will attempt second delivery will be made at no extra charge, however any further deliveries will be charged. If you subsequently choose to cancel your order all previous delivery charge(s) will be deducted from your refund as this service has already taken place and is a non-recoverable cost.

    It is your responsibility to ensure there is suitable access to your delivery address and that we can deliver your item(s) of furniture. This includes access and parking for a large delivery vehicle and access through your home to get your order into its intended room. If windows or doors need to be removed in order for access to be gained it is your responsibility to arrange this at your cost and risk. Any refunds due to access and/or size issues will result in the delivery fee deducted.

    We work hard to keep our delivery promises however delays can occur that are outside our control. Mode Designs (UK) Ltd will not be liable for any late or missed delivery.

    Product Damage or Loss

    You must note any packaging or product damage clearly on the delivery note (do not sign it unchecked) as we cannot accept liability for any damage reported to us at a later date.

    Damaged or faulty products will wherever possible be fixed by sending out a furniture restorer to your address.

    Assembly

    Some of our products will require assembly. Please follow the assembly instructions. There will be no refunds or replacements for incorrect installation or assembly.

    You can find out if a product requires assembly in the 'Additional Information' tab on each product page.

    If a product requires assembly we recommend 2 able persons assemble the furniture and you follow the assembly instructions provided. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damaged caused if the number of persons assembling the furniture is below the recommended number stated; or the person(s) assembling the furniture have failed to correctly follow and/or execute the assembly instructions provided.
